Position: Marketing Manager
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri is a growing organization and always focused on taking the best care of its many constituents. It is one of the largest affiliates in the nation, and for over 6 years is awarded as a leader in quality service. It focuses its services on youth ages 5-25. Our Mission: We partner with young people in their pursuit of a meaningful, stable, and independent life.
POSITION PURPOSE: The primary goal of this position is to successfully implement and execute strategic marketing plans for mentor recruitment, fundraising and brand awareness. The goals are centered on increasing prospects and conversion through marketing activities. Requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and a high degree of creative thinking and understanding of traditional and digital marketing. This role supports all agency and includes working with colleagues outside the department.
Core Job Responsibilities |
CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT · Lead planning and development of plans for marketing campaigns.
CAMPAIGN EXECUTION & REPORTING · Manage campaign execution and reporting for campaigns and ongoing/daily activities.
COLLABORATE & ENGAGE WITH EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL PARTNERS

Education and Experience Qualifications |
· Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of marketing experience preferred. · Knowledge of marketing (traditional and digital), sales/philanthropy, project management, and communications. · Knowledge of sponsored social media, SEO, SEM and other digital advertising channels. · Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications. · Experience in non-profit sector helpful, not required. · Regular access to a reliable car, valid driver's license, and insurance · Proven project planning and management skills; able to manage multiple key projects simultaneously |
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
Routine office environment. Flexible work hours to meet requirements/deadlines. · Technology/computer skills needed. Proficient in the following platforms: MS Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, & Teams); Outlook, & Zoom · Digital platform skills desired: Email Distribution, Social Media Scheduling, Canva · Flexible work hours to meet the needs of schools, team members and community leaders/organizations including nights and weekends. · Must have car, valid driver's license, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED · MS Office Suite-Word/Excel/PowerPoint · Marketing Automation Platform(s) · Customer Relationship Management Platform(s) · Google Analytics · Social Media - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn |

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Salary will be based upon professional and academic experience (salary range - $52,000-$57,000)
- Hybrid work schedule.
- Immediate and 100% coverage on health and dental insurance.
- Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance following the first ninety days of employment.
- 401(k) – 3% match per year following first year of employment.
- 50% contribution toward daily parking in covered garage (employee covers approximately $32.00 per month).
- After 90 days staff will receive 5 days of paid vacation and 10 days of paid vacation after one year of service.
- Accrue 1 day per month of sick leave (can also be used for family illnesses) – can carry up to 30 days of sick leave.
- 2 personal days per year following the first ninety days of employment.
- Annual raises based on performance, culture and agency's ability.
- 11 paid holidays.
