Position: Practicum Opportunity
POSITION PURPOSE: Provide relationship support for mentoring relationships to ensure child safety, positive impacts for children, trusting and enduring relationships and a strong sense of affiliation with BBBSEMO. Requires strong ability to build and maintain relationships, a high degree of independent judgment, and efficient time management.

EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE |
Educational Level: Minimum of 2-year college education in a related field - master's level student preferred but not required. Ideal Candidate would have:

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in the following platforms: MS Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, & Teams); Outlook, & Zoom.
- Flexible work hours to meet the needs of youth, families, and volunteers, including nights and weekends.
- Must have a car, valid driver's license, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums.
- Routine office/school environment.
Terms of Practicum/Internship Opportunity
This is a two-semester opportunity. 15-20 hours per week availability.
This practicum can be used for school credit or strictly for professional development.
If University/Program has Practicum agreement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, agency will work to qualify this experience for Practicum credits. BBBSEMO has MSW staff and volunteers to work directly with Social Work students needing a Practicum Advisor with MSW credentials.
